Charles E. Taylor, Jr, Esq. was born in Jacksonville, Florida.  He received his undergraduate degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Florida in 1991.  After his undergraduate studies, he worked in the mental health field as a program director.  Mr. Taylor attended Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2001. 

After law school, Mr. Taylor worked as an associate at an Orlando, Florida insurance defense law firm.  There he was involved with medical malpractice, nursing home defense, and personal injury.  He became familiar with the process and tactics of insurance defense law firms. 

He served more than two years as a Judical Law Clerk for the Honorable Karla R. Spaulding, United States Magistrate Judge.  His duties included drafting bench memoranda, drafting orders and report and recommendations.  He was also responsible for ensuring that all motions complied with Federal and Local Rules. 

Following the expiration of his clerkship, he opened a general practice law firm which includes the practice areas of criminal defense, family law, civil litigation, wrongful death, personal injury, and nursing home abuse.
